Dear friends,

With the publication of Volume 3, issue 2, the first editorial team of JSSTD completes its tenure in office. Looking back, we feel deep satisfaction since this team was able to bring quality articles to you at regular intervals.

I take this opportunity to thank my team for their well-coordinated work. I express my sincere gratitude to the successive Presidents and Secretaries of IADVL Kerala and IADVL executive committees over the past 3 years for the unflinching faith they had in us and the unconditional support they extended to us. On behalf of my team, I thank all our esteemed authors for trusting us with their valuable work. Words can’t express our gratitude to our great reviewers whose timely and selfless efforts have helped us to keep the manuscript processing time as short as possible.

From this issue, we are starting a net section. Articles under the categories of Case reports, Letter to the editor, and Image will be published in the net section. They will be cited in the print issue as well. Articles under the categories of Invited commentary, JSSTD symposium, Review article, Original article, History and Resident’s Page would be published both online and in print.

Over the past 3 years, JSSTD has made quite some progress, but it has to travel a long way ahead. I am sure JSSTD will scale greater heights under the new editorial team with the support and blessings of each and every one of you.

Thanking you all once again and wishing success to the new editorial team,

Yours sincerely,

Dr. Abdul Samad K

Editor in Chief, JSSTD
